Serious Game Summit Wrap-Up

Pictorial

About 35 people attended the November meeting at The Art Institute of Colorado in Denver.

Announcements included a discussion about upcomming meetings. Currently is sounds like our December holiday meeting will be held at Gamespace, a local LAN Gaming center, and January's meeting will be held at Westwood College.

Next, a group discussion was held, led by attendess of the October Serious Games Summit. Brian Wiffon of Anark and Daniel Newman of Architekture.com led the discussion and answered questions. The group touched on differences between serious and commercial games, a general run-down of the summit, and the perceived advantages of using games as training tools.

Afterwards, the group broke into smaller discussion groups for the final hour.
